Arista began as a model in the International Savings & Loan of Hawaii commercials. In LA, for her screenplay “Welcome Home Kelly!”, she was invited to Columbia Pictures Preferred Writers List and the stageplay, “Welcome Home Kelly!” won 1st place in the E.F.S. 1999 Women’s Empowerment Awards Writing Competition. In NY, she wrote/performed/produced her first off Broadway play, “All About Sneakers,” now an indie film project, “Earthen,” a romantic comedy with a contemporary Cherokee love story. She wrote/produced/hosted her docu, “Asian American Artists: Stereotypes & Alternatives,” airing on WNYC, and appeared in “Anthony and Cleopatra,” and wrote a children’s series, “The Gemini Kid.” She resides in NYC as an actress/writer/producer/voice artist.
