Born in Kyung-Ju, South Korea, Ji Un Choi came to the United States when she was eight. Her credits include lead in the independent film “Ignorant Bliss,” her one act play “Porcupine,” and originating the role of the Japanese Housewife in “Women of Asia.” Her most significant role to date is the lead in a 30 minute independent film entitled “Morning Calm,” the first narrative film about a comfort woman.
