Born and raised in an artistic family in Beijing, China, Jing started performing as early as five years old. After arriving in the US, she had professional theatre training in Florida State University (MA in theater) and studied acting with Robert Cohen, Ruth Nerken, Salem Ludwig in NYC. Her stage credits include: The King and I (Tuptim, Regional NJ); Touch the Names (off-Broadway); White Eyebrow and the Destruction of Shaolin (off-off Broadway); God’s Land (staged reading, lead); Which Way to America (Hudson Theatre Ensemble) Her film credits include: Indie feature Contemplating Emily, God’s Land & The End She also appeared on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brian and she was the winner of the Funniest Asian Comic Contest (Stand-up NY, 2002) She is a lyric soprano, fluent in English and Mandarin.
