Filmmaker and community activist, NaRhee Ahn is committed to raising the awareness of Asian American womenÕs stories through media representation. A SON FOR SENSEI, a short film completed at Columbia UniversityÕs Graduate Film Division, is an award-winning work distributed by AtomShockwave. It is best described as a feminist martial arts comedy. NaRhee served as the President of the Asian American FilmmakerÕs Collaborative from March 2001 to September 2002. She is also on the steering committee of The Asian American International Film Festival and
on staff at The Asian American Arts Alliance.
