James Verdesoto

Creative Director
James is the co-founder and Creative Director of Indika Entertainment Advertising in New York City. Prior to forming Indika, James created his reputation as a graphic visionary when he set up an in-house creative department at Miramax Films, and served there for four years. At Miramax, he created groundbreaking campaigns for films such as The Piano, The Crying Game and Strictly Ballroom, and won Key Art Awards for his campaign for Pulp Fiction.
After eleven years, Indika continues to demonstrate innovation and leadership in the creation of poster campaigns for feature length films. With over 150 movie credits earned, Indika continues operations in Los Angeles and New York serving the marketing needs for major Hollywood studios. Their diversity, cutting-edge ideas and creative talents are exemplified in posters of such films as The Last Samurai, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Girl Interrupted and Ocean’s Eleven and Twelve
James received his BFA from Parsons School of Art and Design after going to high school at Manhattan’s prestigious High School of Art and Design. James was born in Quito, Ecuador and is based in New York City.
