FAQ’s

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does my team have to be in New York?
No, this year’s contest is open to participants from all over the country - just overnight your DVD to us and ensure that it reaches us by Tuesday, June 21 at 10:30 am. Check out the rules for details.

  • I’m a triple threat. Can a person of Asian descent fill principal crew positions and acting positions at the same time?  For example if I write, direct and act will I be eligible to compete?
Yes. As an example, you can be the principal Asian actress as well as the director. But who will get the coffee if you’re the only crew member?

  • I’m ready. Where do I get me a team?
Friends are a good start. If your friends’ve already used up their fifteen minutes of fame, then try posting on our message board for crew. Otherwise, Craigslist east or west coast is always worth a try.
