Editor
Alan’s editing credits include Welcome to the Dollhouse (Grand Jury Prize, Sundance Film Festival), Happiness (International Critic’s
Award, Cannes Film Festival), Storytelling (Cannes Film Festival), and Two Girls and a Guy.
He was also the supervising editor and co-producer on the acclaimed documentary, Control Room (Sundance Film Festival), and the co-editor
of Unzipped (Audience Award, Sundance Film Festival), which won the A.C.E. Award for Best Documentary Editing.
Alan co-produced Assisted Living, winner of the 2002 Slamdance Film Festival, and Children Underground, which won the Special Jury Prize a
the Sundance Film Festival and Best Documentary at the IFP Gotham Awards. He has won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Documentary Editing
on the PBS series City Life. He is an adjunct professor at the Columbia University Graduate Film School.
CHRISTINE H. KIM

Christine got her start in the film industry as the assistant to the co-presidents of Sony Pictures Classics. Shortly thereafter, she moved
into Acquisitions and Delivery department where she tracked potential projects for the company and also oversaw delivery of acquired films to
SPC. After a brief and unremarkable stint at HBO in the program planning department, she joined Focus Features International in 2004 and
is currently the Director of International Delivery and Post-Production Services. Christine received her B.A. in English Literature from
Dartmouth College. She is a lifelong New Yorker and currently lives in Brooklyn.
JEROME AUSTRIA
Creative Director at AKQA NY, Independent Filmmaker
Born in San Francisco, California and now based in New York City, Jerome is an emerging, contemporary director of short films, music
videos, commercials, and online experiences. His directing debut at the 2004 Asian American International Film Festival garnered him the
Best Director Jury Prize in the 72 Hour Shorts Program for his 6-minute short entitled “No Regrets.” Prior to that, Jerome also won
1st Runner Up in the Brooklyn 24-Hour Film Festival working as the Director of Photography for the short film “Today USA”. Recently,
Jerome has directed a Nike commercial and a music video for Def Jam recording artist Rihanna. His current short film entitled “Blush” will
be playing at the May 2006 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival/VC Film Fest and the June 2006 New York Asian American International Film
Festival.
Simultaneous to his film career, Jerome has had tremendous success in the field of advertising, collecting more than forty international
awards from some of the most prestigious competitions, including Cannes Lions, One Show Interactive, the London International Design
and Advertising Awards, and the Clios. His design and motion graphics work for Nike has been featured in prestigious publications such as
Creative Review, iD Magazine, Communication Arts, Print, and HOWmagazine. Jerome currently holds a creative director position with
AKQA NY, working on the global Coca-Cola account.

Rohi has garnered attention for her numerous accomplishments in the film, television and theater industries, spearheading productions on a
national level. TV producing credits include: “Finding My America”, the 2005 & 2006 “SASA Specials” and the 2005 “South Asian Media
Awards”. Film producing credits include: “Modern Day Arranged Marriage” and currently she is producing the upcoming feature film
“Hiding Divya” ( http://www.hidingdivya.com) starring Madhur Jaffrey and Pooja Kumar.
Rohi is co-founder of Desipina & Co. (http://www.desipina.org ), an arts company focusing in film and theatre and is firmly dedicated to
promoting cross-pollinations of artistic, political, and cultural dialogues. Desipina & Co. has produced numerous theater productions
and is entering its fifth season. Theater producing credits include: “Broke”, “Barriers” a play which addresses the backlash against South
Asians post 9/11 and the popular ” Seven.11” series. “Seven.11” is a show that consists of seven eleven minute plays all set in a
convenience store which for the last four years consistently bridged the gap between the South Asian and Asian communities. She holds a
MBA from the University of Colorado and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Rutgers University.

Cassie Hamilton is an Integrated Producer at Crispin Porter & Bogusky, producing television commercials and a variety of long format
projects. She previously produced a festival of shorts that were all shot using HD cameras for Sony and Y&R Advertising.

MARCI PHILLIPS
Best Actor, Actress and Comedic Performance Awards
Marci is the Executive Director of Primetime Casting for ABC Entertainment and is responsible for their New York comedy casting. Along with her associates, Marci casts for all ABC and Touchstone pilots (comedies and dramas), new series regulars, TV movies and alternative series.
Marci previously worked for Steven Bochco Productions and MGM Studios. She cast the independent film “Let It Snow” which was featured at Sundance and co-produced the musical comedy “Moo! The Twisted Tale of Dinky Farms” at MTS. Marci has been an active member of the Advisory Board for The Aspen Comedy Festival for the past eight years.
