People’s Choice Competiton Now LIVE on AZNTV.COM

The competition isn’t quite over!  See the Top 10 Films and vote on who YOU think is best on http://www.azntv.com/72hr If you haven’t seen the Top 10, this is a great opportunity to do so.  REMEMBER: The Top 3 winners from the People’s Choice Online competition will also get a special screening on AZN Television.  FYI, High Speed Internet is required and there is a quick and painless registration for the AZN Media Player.

What you might find humorous is that each of the Top 10 films have a TV Rating...nice to know that several are rated MA(Mature Audiences). Great going guys!!!!

Not in the Top 10? As you can see, we have started archiving all 72 Hour shootout films on the website.  If you want to be included in our archive, just upload your film to You Tube and email the link to .  We aren’t crazy about YouTube, but it sure saves us a lot of space on our site and it’s helping most of our filmmakers get some play.

This Just In!

The production phase of the competition is now officially over and the judging phase will now begin.

The AAFilmLab would like to sincerely thank everyone who participated in this year's recording breaking 72 Hour Film Shootout. We're all incredibly excited about the films you've put together and we just can't wait till we get our claws on the films. We have someone assiduously collecting all the films as they fly in so please be patient as we catch up. We'll be notifying everyone who has sent in a submission as soon as we get the info ourselves.

It was incredibly inspiring to see all the films everyone has created over the weekend. To think, in just three days, the ever growing canon of Asian American films has suddenly experienced cataclysmic growth - and the AAFilmLab and the Asian American filmmaking community has all of you to thank for it.
