Industry Spotlight: Dana Krieger on “Navigating the World of Film Festivals, from Production to Making the Most of It.” Thurs., Feb. 16th, 7-9PM
Dana Krieger has a passion for the arts community, and has an extensive background in producing and creating large scale, high profile events for both the nonprofit and for-profit communities. Most recently, Dana drew upon both her love of the arts and delight for execution by taking on senior management positions at the Tribeca Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Silverdocs Film Festival, DOC NYC Film festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, and the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. Dana did her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University and earned a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University

She will be discussing the ins-and-outs of putting together a film festival, and also, for filmmakers, how to navigate film festivals, with behind-the-scenes nuts-and-bolts of how they work - the inside track; why go, what to do when you get there, how to network, and what parties to go to, to maximize the efficiency and enjoyment of the experience.
