READERS NEEDED!Posted: Thursday, February 10, 2011This month, we have a scripts by Nancy Sun & Jodi Lin that we will be workshopping with feedback for our “Unfinished Works.” Join us in supporting our community by creating a safe space to give and receive honest feedback for eachother’s Unfinished Works! We will be needing some readers. If you are interested in being a reader, please email headshot/resume to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with subjectline “March 3rd Reader.” Asian American Film Lab “Unfinished Works” meeting To offset costs of maintaining our services to our community, and in the aid of securing a permanent home for the AAFilmLab, we will be accepting donations. The suggested donation is $3.00 - $5.00. OTHER NEWS & EVENTSChildren of Invention - NYC ScreeningPosted: Friday, July 03, 2009CHILDREN OF INVENTION will have its Manhattan premiere as the Centerpiece Presentation of the 32nd Annual Asian American Int’l Film Festival this coming month. We will be showing Saturday, July 25th at 7:45pm at the beautiful SVA theater in Chelsea (formerly the Chelsea Clearview West theater). There’ll be a Q&A after the screening. $15 admission includes the afterparty at 310 lounge. Please get your tickets early, as our last few festival screenings have sold out very quickly. The AAFilmLab has completed its Chinatown Youth Mentoring Program along with MOCA and APEX. Two of our members were mentors for high school students and had the great pleasure of helping them create their very own film to be included in MOCA's Chinatown Online Film channel on YouTube. The AAFilmLab is incredibly proud to have been part of such an inspiring experience.
