CASTING: Asians for Columbia MFA Thesis (NYC)

Columbia University MFA Thesis Film Casting

Raymond Yeung (director) is casting “RUB”, a thesis short-film for Columbia University MFA program. The film is about the relationship of a single mother and her son, and the secrets that they discover about each other.  Filming is slated for February 2012. It will be a 4-5 day shoot.

Seeking –VINCENT: Asian or Eurasian male: age 12-15, innocent, struggling with poverty and bullying, he is on the cusp of sexual awakening. Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus. LEAD

LISA: Asian female: age 35 – 45, tough & rough exterior but soft hearted, she is willing to sacrifice everything for her son. Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus. LEAD

CHEN: Asian male: 35 – 45, athletic build, handsome father figure with masculine appeal. Fit and must be comfortable with semi nude scene. Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus. SUPPORTING

Auditions will be held at Columbia University campus, 116th Street and Broadway, New York on the following dates/times:
November 26th & 27th (12 – 6 pm) Dec 3rd – 4th (12 – 6 pm)
