This week we’ll be reading an excerpt from Leo Kao’s feature
screenplay. Please come to read (actors!) and to give Leo your input
on his work in progress. Also we’ll be having a review of member
benefits and what’s coming up for the rest of 2007.

Brief Synopsis:
A chess prodigy’s life is pulled in two directions. An abused child
and a struggling actor, Mike is torn between his passion for acting
and the temptation for money. Clearly following a path of self-
destruction, he watches as his best friends enter the corporate world,
leaving him alone. It is only through the love of a passionate girl
and the warmth of an old man that Mike can find his way.
